Shanae Baker-Brice makes her coaching debut with the Howard Bison as the Director of Basketball Operations. Baker-Brice is a 2010 graduate of Towson University where she completed an impressive career as a player.
While at Towson, Baker-Brice received numerous conference accolades, as she was named a First team All-CAA selection, CAA All-Defensive team honoree, as well as a CAA Player of the Week on several occasions. Baker-Brice entered her senior season having scored in double figures in 72 of her 90 games. She became the 14th player to reach 1,000 points in school history.
Baker-Brice, a native of Washington, D.C., was a standout player at Theodore Roosevelt High School, averaging 24 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and six steals per game. She received All-Met honors in 2005, led Theodore Roosevelt to the city championship and had her jersey retired by the Rough Riders.
