Alvin Harper is entering his third tour of duty with Howard University. During his first two years, he was instrumental in developing many of the receivers that are currently here at HU.

Responsibilities:  Coaching the wide receivers and overseeing the development of the players.

Coach Experience: College: Wide Receivers coach, Howard University 2004-2005. Professional: Served as wide receivers coach for the Rhein Fire of NFL Europe, 2005.

Playing Experience: College: University of Tennessee, 1985-89: named All-American and All-Southeastern Conference his junior and senior seasons; Harper also excelled in track and field at the University of Tennessee where he high jumped a record of 7'5. 5". Professional: Dallas Cowboys; 1989-95 and 1999; Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1996-97; Washington Redskins, 1998; All time leading receiver in the NFL playoffs in receiving yards per catch; member of the Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl teams in 1992-93; named to the USA Today All-Pro team in 1991; named as an alternate to the Pro Bowl team in 1992; named to the 1995 All-Madden team.
