Alvin Harper is entering his fifth year with Howard University. He is instrumental in developing many of the receivers that are currently here at HU.

Responsibilities:  Coaching the wide receivers and overseeing the development of the players.

Coach Experience: College: Wide Receivers coach, Howard University 2004-present. Professional: Served as wide receivers coach for the Rhein Fire of NFL Europe, 2005.

Playing Experience: College: University of Tennessee, 1985-89: named All-American and All-Southeastern Conference his junior and senior seasons; Harper also excelled in track and field at the University of Tennessee where he high jumped a record of 7'5. 5". Professional: Dallas Cowboys; 1989-95 and 1999; Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1996-97; Washington Redskins, 1998; All time leading receiver in the NFL playoffs in receiving yards per catch; member of the Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl teams in 1992-93; named to the USA Today All-Pro team in 1991; named as an alternate to the Pro Bowl team in 1992; named to the 1995 All-Madden team.
