DEXTER HARRIS Associate Director of Athletics
Dexter Harris enters his first year as associate director of athletics. Harris is no stranger to Howard University. Before being named associate director, Harris served as acting associate AD for the past year.
He also served as intramural coordinator from 2000-05. Harris has paid his dues, serving stints as area scouting supervisor for the Atlanta Braves from 1997-99, as assistant baseball coach at Old Dominion University from 1995-97 and assistant baseball coach at Barton College from 1994-95.
Harris' duties include assisting and coordinating game-day events, coordinating scheduling and assisting with purchases within the athletics department.
Harris is a graduate of Barton College with a BS in sports
administration in 1995.
