Daisha Hicks is in her second season as the assistant women's basketball coach at Howard University. Hicks is no stranger to Howard, from 2001-2005, Hicks was a stand-out point guard for the Lady Bison, while starting at the position from 2002-2005. Hicks finished her career at Howard with many accolades under her belt. She was the 15th player in school history to reach the 1000th career point mark. She is second all-time in Lady Bison history in assists and first in steals. In her freshman campaign, Hicks was named to the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) All-Rookie Team and as a senior she was named to the First Team All-MEAC and was the MEAC Player-of-the-Year Runner-up. A native of Antelope California, Hicks received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing in 2005.
