Felicia Kemp enters her fourth season as an assistant coach with the Howard University women's basketball team. She came to Howard from Morgan State University where she served as interim head coach during the 2002-03 season. Prior to that, Kemp served as the first assistant and recruiting coordinator at Morgan State from 1999-2003.
Kemp also had stints at Peninsula Christian School where she was the head coach during the 1996-97 season. She served as an assistant coach at Christopher Newport under Coach Parson from 1995-1999.
Kemp played collegiately for Coach Parson at Christopher Newport from 1992-95 and helped lead her team to NCAA Tournament appearances in 1993 and 1995.
She is a graduate of Christopher Newport with a BA degree in
physical education. Kemp is a member of the WBCA.
