DOVER, DEL. - Howard defeated Coppin State and St. Peter's during play at the Capital Classic on Feb. 7-8 in Dover, Del.

The Lady Bison downed CSU 4-2 in the non-traditional baker games on day two. HU later went on and took down St. Peter's 4-1. Howard finished 2-3 in the baker results after going 0-5 in head-to-head action on opening day.

In individual action on day one, Shayla Haynes paced the Bison after totaling 828 pins in five games. Brianna Uzzell finished with 800 pins while Trishana Thomas (579 pins), Alesyn McCall (536 pins), Taneeka Hanna (529 pins) and Elizabeth Sanders (504 pins) also saw action for HU.
