MILLSBORO, DEL. - The Lady Bison bowlers picked up three wins at MEAC North Competition on Nov. 15-16 in Millsboro, Del.

Howard defeated Coppin State, 734-634 in individual competition on day one. Shayla Haynes had a team-high 160 pins in that game while Taneeka Hanna contributed 157 and Brianna Uzzell added 150.

The Bison dropped games to nationally ranked Delaware State (896-693) and Maryland Eastern Shore (938-743).

In baker competition, HU took down CSU 566-515 and later defeated Hampton 681-610.

DSU, UMES and Morgan State each defeated Howard for baker wins on day two.

The Bison return to action next weekend at the UMES Hawk Classic.
