NAGS HEAD, N.C. - Brianna Uzzell rolled an 839 and Jordane Frazier knocked down 849 pins to lead the Howard bowling team at the Beach Open in Nags Head, N.C. It was the season opener for the Lady Bison.

Howard defeated North Carolina Central, 820-723, during team action on day one. Frazier rolled 207 pins, a team-high, in the win over the Eagles while Uzzell knocked down 200 pins versus Elizabeth City State.

The Lady Bison also dropped matchups to Hampton and Bowie State during team action, finishing the day with a 1-4 mark.

Howard took down NCCU on days two and three during baker competition. Day two saw a 611-544 win over North Carolina Central while the Bison defeated the Eagles 771-700 on day three.

The Lady Bison Bison wrapped up baker play with a 2-6 mark.

HU (3-10) next travels to Hampton, Va. for MEAC North competition on Nov. 7-8.
