Dorceus Named Offensive Lineman of the Week
Richard Dorceus has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Offensive Lineman of the Week after leading Howard University to a 27-22 win over Charleston Southern this past Saturday.
A 6-3, 300-pound senior tackle from Orlando, FL, Dorceus graded out 98 percent on all blocking assignments and did not allow a sack while paving the way for the Bison as they amassed 487 yards of total offense.
A pre-season All-MEAC selection who was moved from center to tackle, Dorceus threw several key blocks for running back Keon Coleman (140 yards) while also providing protection for quarterback Ronald Venters.
