VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. - Redshirt Freshman Keith Pough (Orangeburg, S.C./Scotts Branch H.S.) has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for his performance in the loss to Florida A&M University.  A 6-3, 225-pound red-shirt freshman linebacker from Orangeburg, S.C., was credited with nine solo tackles, two assisted tackles and two tackles for losses.

It was the second straight game that Pough has recorded double-digit tackles.  He currently leads the Bison in tackles with 21 and he is tied for second in the MEAC in that category.

Howard (0-2) faces off with Georgetown on Saturday in the DC Cup. Game time is slated for 2pm at Multi-Sport Field.
