A 5-10, 190-pound sophomore from New Orleans, La, Freeman rushed for a career-high 212 yards on 13 carries with two touchdowns to lead Howard to a 56-9 victory over Savannah State. Freeman averaged over 16 yards a per carry en-route to recording the third highest run production in school history behind former All American Harvey Reed (260 yards) and Antoine Rutherford (230 yards).
Bush-Johnson, a 6-3, 300-pound senior center from Charlotte, NC, graded out at 98-percent on all blocking assignments as he aided the Bison to 551 total offensive yards including 466 yards on the ground. He also recorded four pancake blocks as Howard defeated Savannah State 56-9.
Rollins is a 5-11, 235-pound freshman from Miami, FL who(LB, 5-11, 235, Miami, Fla.) blocked a punt and returned it 23 yards for a touchdown in Howard's win over Savannah State. Rollins also tallied four assisted tackles on special teams in the win.
Damien Gresham Chisholm and William Parker were also honored for their contributions to the victory.
Greshan Chisholm, a 6-3, 250-pound freshman from Covington, Ga recorded six tackles and three solos, with 2.5 resulting in a loss of seven yards. Gresham Chisholm also forced a fumble in a win over Savannah State.
A 6-0, 190-pound freshman from Stone Mountain, Ga, Parker rushed for a career-high 87 yards with one touchdown in a win. He also returned a kickoff for 39 yards.
