This week on The Gridiron, Coach Harrell expresses his enthusiasm for the outstanding performances of the defense and special teams units.
Excerpt: It was very encouraging to see the Bison perform with high intensity. Defensively, the performance was remarkable. Keith Pough displayed amazing determination and gave FAMU problems all day. The defensive line were the unsung heroes! They applied constant pressure on the quarterback and was very instrumental in stopping FAMU's run game. Special teams once again were special. Their effort gave Howard the edge in the battle of field position. We take great pride in our special teams units. Our defense and special teams set the tone for every ball game. We depend on them to be the enforcers!
