Davin Morris, Terrell Hawkins and Malcolm Montgomery have been selected to play in the 2012 Football Championship Subdivision Senior Scout Bowl on Saturday, December 15 at 5 pm in North Myrtle Beach, SC.
The Senior Scout Bowl is comprised of senior players from the NCAA FCS Division who get an opportunity to showcases their talents to professional scouts. The teams are divided in the North and South Division, in which the Howard players will represent.
Morris is a 6-6, 310-pound senior offensive tackle from Houston, TX, who had his best season by far. A second team All-MEAC selection, Morris was one of the key reasons the Bison finished among the tops in the FCS in rushing offense, averaging over 225 yards per game.
Hawkins is a 6-4, 320-pound guard from Temple Hills, MD, who also had his finest season. A former offensive center, Hawkins made the transition and proved to be more than expected as he helped aid running back Terrence Leffall rush for over 1,100 yards.
Crawford is a 6-4, 280-pound senior guard from Decatur, GA, started all 11 games for the first time in his career and had his finest season.
