NATIONAL FOOTBALL SIGNING DAY 2013 HOWARD EDITION

WASHINGTON, D.C. (www.howard-bison.com) – February 6 – At the top of the 10:00 a.m. hour, the Howard University football team announces the following new members to the 2013 HU Bison football squad.
Out of Head Football Coach Gary "Flea" Harrell's hometown of Miami, Fla., comes Freddy Leroy. Leroy is a 5-11, 185 lb., defensive back from North Miami Beach High School.
From Burns High School in Lawndale, N.C., hails Travon Hunt. At 6-1, 180 lb., Hunt will join the defensive line as a defensive back.
Nine hours northwest of Washington, D.C., comes a 6-3, 215 lb. quarterback from Detroit, Mich., Da'Vaun Williams. Williams is projected to graduate from Martin Luther King High School in June 2013.

Joining the offensive line is Jordan Dunham of Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, Ga. At 6-1, 300 lb., Dunham bench presses 405 lbs. and was the 2012 All-County honoree. Along with his offensive line skills as a center, Dunham could see some defensive action at defensive tackle.
Out of the DMV comes Jordan Pittman of DeMatha High School in Hyattsville, Md. Pittman is a 6-2, 225 lb., tight end.
