Howard Announces Another Signing

            Howard University announces the signing of Curtis White to a grant-in-aid for the men's basketball team.  White averaged almost 14 points, 6 rebounds and four assists per game while leading Indianapolis Pike High School to a 23-4 record and a trip to the Regional finals in his senior season.

            White, a 6-4, 185 pounder, led the team in scoring was selected All-Marion County and has been named among the Top 40 seniors in the state.  He is a candidate for the Indiana All-Star team.

            During his four-year career at Pike HS, his team posted an impressive 115-15 record.

            White joins guard Julius Hearn, forwards Nate Cooper and Tshimuanga Mukole and center Paul Kirkpatrick as part of one of the earliest and best recruiting classes at Howard in recent years.
