The Games
The Howard men's basketball team opens up its west coast
trip with a contest against Oregon State. The Bison are coming off
a 45-39 loss to Hampton on Dec. 6 and look to get started on the
right foot before facing off with Portland on Dec. 22.
Paul Kirkpatrick's 10 points and seven rebounds paced Howard in the loss to the Pirates. Eugene Myatt added nine points and Chris McHenry dished out three assists.
Oregon State defeated Seattle Pacific, 71-67 in its last time out on Dec. 16. Calvin Haynes had a game-high 20 points off the bench while Omar Johnson chipped in 17.
