The Game
In its final home game of the year, the Howard women's
basketball team takes on longtime conference rival Howard at Burr
Gymnasium. Howard is coming off a 72-54 win over Norfolk State on
March 2 while the Lady Pirates fell in overtime to North Carolina
A&T, 81-72 in its last time out.
Senior center Tamaya Daniels paced HU with a game-high 25 points in the win over the Spartans. Sophomore guard Zykia Brown added 21 points and Morgan Neal led the team in rebounds with nine.
Sharella Leslie had 16 points for Hampton against the Aggies. Quanneisha Perry added 10 points and 18 rebounds.

The Game
Howard will try to snap its two-game skid when it hosts
Hampton tonight at 8 pm in Burr Gymnasium. The Bison are coming off
a 85-71 loss to Norfolk State on Monday.
Eugene Myatt led four Bison in double figures with a team-high 20 points against the Spartans. Kyle Riley (19 points), Randy Hampton (15 points) and Paul Kirkpatrick (10 points) all contributed in the loss to NSU.
The Pirates were downed by North Carolina A&T, 59-58 in its last time out. Darrion Pellum and Michael Freeman had 14 points apiece for Hampton.
