Howard Announces Men's Basketball Schedule
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Howard University announces its 2008-09 men's basketball schedule. The Bison open the season against the Beavers of Oregon State on Friday, November 14 in Burr Gymnasium at 7 pm. It marks the first time that Howard has hosted a team from the PAC 10.
The schedule also includes games at St. John's of the Big East on November 22 and a return date to Madison Square Garden for a MEAC match-up against Hampton University in the Big Apple Classic on December 6 at 7 pm.
The Bison are scheduled to host South Carolina State on ESPNU, January 19 at 7 pm. That game is part of the MEAC TV package and will take place on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
The MEAC Tournament is scheduled for March 9-14 in Winston-Salem, NC.
