THE GAME: This is a non-conference match-up between the Bison of Howard University and the Eagles of American University.  The Bison (0-7) are coming off a 70-54 road loss to Canisius College on Saturday while AU (0-7) is still looking for its first victory after dropping a 65-58 decision at Maryland Eastern Shore on Saturday.

THE COACHES: Howard is coached by Gil Jackson (Elizabethtown, '69), who is in his fifth season and has a 30-100 career record.  AU is coached by Jeff Jones (University of Virginia, '82), who is in his 10th season there and has a 149-131 record to date.  Jones' overall coaching record is 295-235 in 18-plus seasons of coaching.
