THE GAME: This is a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference match-up between the Bison of Howard University and the Rattlers of Florida A&M University. The Bison (7-20 overall, 6-6 in the MEAC) are trying to recover from a 52-72 loss to Norfolk State University on Monday. The Rattlers (6-19 overall, 3-9 in the MEAC) are coming off a 63-66 loss to Delaware State University on Monday. The Rattlers defeated the Bison, 72-65 on January 23 in Washington, DC. This is the 58th meeting between these two schools and the series is tied at 29.
THE COACHES: Howard is coached by Gil Jackson (Elizabethtown, '69), who is in his fifth season and has a 37-111 career record. Florida A&M is coached by Eugene Harris (Florida State '79), who is in his third season with FAMU and has an overall record of 31-57.
