THE GAME: This is a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference match-up between the Bison of Howard and the Bulldogs of South Carolina State.  The Bison (6-18 overall, 5-4 in the MEAC) are trying to recover from a 62-58 loss to Winston-Salem State on Saturday.  The Bulldogs (12-8 overall, 6-3 in the MEAC) are coming off a 72-60 win over Hampton this past Saturday.  This is the 80^th meeting and the Bulldogs hold a 46-33 advantage.

THE COACHES:  Howard is coached by Gil Jackson (Elizabethtown, '69), who is in his fifth season and has a 36-110 career record to date.  South Carolina State is coached by Tim Carter (Kansas '79) who is in his third season at SC State and he has a record of 51-42 to date. His overall career record is 202-194 in 13-plus seasons.
