THE GAME: This is a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference match-up between the Hawks of the University of  Maryland Eastern Shore and the Bison of Howard University.  The Hawks (9-19 Overall, 7-7 MEAC) had their two-game win streak snapped when they dropped a tough 61-65 decision to Morgan State University on Monday.  The Bison dropped their third straight in a 50-44 road loss to Bethune-Cookman on Monday.

THE SERIES: Howard dropped a 67-66 decision to the Hawks on January 30 in Princess Anne, MD. This is the 94th meeting between the two schools and the Bison hold a 53-41 advantage.

THE COACHES:  UMES is coached by Frankie Allen (Roanoke College, '71), who is in his second season at UMES and has a 16-42 record to date there.  Allen, who formerly served as head coach at Howard University, has a career record of 239-336 to date in 21-plus seasons. The Bison are coached by Gil Jackson (Elizabethtown, '69), who is in his fifth season and has a 37-113 career record to date.

NEXT UP: The Hawks will close out the regular season at Delaware State on Thursday at 7:30 pm while the Bison travel to Hampton, VA to take on the rival Pirates of Hampton University on Thursday in the regular season finale at 7:30 pm
