THE GAME: This is the opening round of the Glenn Wilkes Classic featuring the Bison of Howard University and the Knights of Central Florida.  The Bison (0-1) opened the season on Saturday with an 83-60 loss to the University of Indiana before 17, 383 while the Knights (1-0) posted an impressive 84-67 win over Massachusetts at home.

THE COACHES: Howard is coached by Gil Jackson (Elizabethtown, '69), who is in his fifth season and has a 30-94 career record.  UCF is coached by Kirk Speraw (Iowa, '80), who is in his 17^th year there and has a 265-216 record to date.

SERIES RECORD: This is the fourth meeting between the two schools and the Bison hold a 2-1 advantage.  The two last played in 1989 in the John McClendon Classic in Chicago and Howard prevailed, 81-65.
