Phillips Named MEAC Rookie of the Week
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Mike Phillips has been named the MEAC Rookie of the Week for the third time this season. The 6-7, 185-pound freshman forward from Fredericksburg, VA, scored 24 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, dealt out three assists and had a steal in a win over Navy and a loss to Morgan State.
Phillips is the team's second leading scorer at 7.4 points per game and the leading rebounder with 5.5 per game.
