Leary Named MEAC Rookie of the Week
NORFOLK, VA - Alphonso Leary has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for his performance this past week.
A 6-8 freshman center from Norfolk, VA, Leary averaged 11.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.2 steals in a road loss to Norfolk State and a home win over Florida A&M University this past Saturday.
