Howard Recruit To Play In All Star Game
Simuel Frazier, who signed a letter-of-intent to attend Howard University in the fall, has been selected to play in the 2011 Elite Showcase Basketball Classic on Sunday at 3:30 pm at the Verizon Center.
A 6-0 guard from Norfolk Maury High School in Norfolk, VA, Frazier will be among 24 of the top high school players selected to play in the prestigious event.
Frazier will be representing the North squad. He had an outstanding career for the Commodores, averaging over 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists per game. Frazier, who was a teammate of Howard freshman Alphonso Leary, honed his skills as a point guard for the nationally recognized Boo Williams AAU program.
