WASHINGTON, D.C. - The First Annual Kevin Nickelberry basketball camp at Howard University proved to be a big success. The more than 80 campers who participated in the five-day camp, were given instruction in the fundamentals of the sport while also providing a lot of fun and excitement for the campers, ages 5-16.
"I am very pleased with the camp and how it turned out," said first year head coach Kevin Nickelberry. "We had a surprisingly good number and I thought that the staff did a tremendous job in getting this off the ground in a short amount of time and making it a success. This is something to build on for the future."
