Beginning this week, Howard University head men’s basketball coach Kevin Nickelberry will continue to visit local elementary, middle and high schools in the metropolitan area to discuss the importance of not participating in bullying. He has already visited a number of schools during the season and is scheduled to visit approximately 10 more to date as a part of his “No Bullying” campaign. Coach Nickelberry has already hosted over 100 elementary school youth at home basketball games this past season.
Through his own personal experience, he has been able to overcome bullying as a youth and gone on to obtain a high level of success. It is Coach Nickelberry’s contention that if he can reach just one youth, all his efforts in this campaign have been worth it.
