Calvin Thompson has been to the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference 2010-11 pre-season second team as selected by the conference coaches and SIDs. 

Thompson, a 6-3 junior guard from New Orleans, La, led the Bison in scoring with 12.0 points per game and was second in rebounding with 5.1 per contest.  During the season, he led the team in scoring 14 times, and in rebounding 11 times.

Thompson was named the MEAC Player of the Week after scoring 56 points in back-to-back road wins over North Carolina A&T and Norfolk State.  Thompson has the distinction of recording two different kinds of double-doubles during the season, one in the traditional points-rebounds category, and the other in points-assists.
