FARMVILLE, VA. - The Longwood men's soccer team defeated Howard, 1-0 in the Bison's final regular season game on Saturday. With the win, LU improves to 7-8-2 (3-2-0 ASC) while HU drops to 3-8-5 (1-3-1 ASC) with the loss.

The Lancers scored its only goal on a penalty kick with 8:16 left in regulation, which came off the foot of Sean Harney.

Howard held an 11-8 advantage in shots. The two teams finished tied in corner kicks with there each while the Bison committed 14 fouls compared to 13 by Longwood.
