FARMVILLE, VA. - The Howard men's soccer team dropped its final conference road game with a 4-0 loss to Longwood Saturday afternoon in Farmville, Va.
Martin Vickerton gave the hosts a 1-0 lead in the 38th minute when he scored an unassisted goal from the top of the box.
Longwood's Harvey Headley made it 2-0 three minutes after the break.
The Bison took three shots and senior goalkeeper Victor Thomas had seven saves.
Rotimi Iziduh, Phillip Borde and Rodino Wright each took one shot for HU, who dropped to 2-11-2 and 0-1-1 in Atlantic Soccer action.
The Lancers improved to 4-9-2 (1-2-0 ASC) with the win.
With its five-match road swing complete, GW now returns to Greene Stadium for its final two conference matches. The Bison host Houston Baptist on Friday, Oct. 30 at 7 pm.
