Owls Nip Bison on Penalty Kick
BOCA RATON, FLA. - FAU's Karol Chorak tallied a penalty kick goal in the 35th minute as Florida Atlantic nipped Howard, 1-0 Friday evening in Boca Raton, Fla.
The Bison outshot the Owls 6-5 and held a commanding 11-1 advantage in corner kicks.
Freshman Phillip Borde had three shots for HU (two on goal) and junior Matt Marshall added a shot on goal for the Bison.
Senior keeper Victor Thomas stopped two shots in 90 minutes of action.
Howard (0-3) returns to action on Sunday with contest against Florida International in Miami, Fla.
