Home Game Finale Ends With 0-0 Double OT Tie Against VMI
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The HU men's soccer team sent its seniors off with a 0-0 double overtime tie against the Virginia Military Institute. Howard will wrap up the regular season on Nov. 2 at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. The game is slated for 7 p.m.
Both teams were evenly matched as VMI managed 17 shots, while holding Howard to 12. The Keydets and Bison had five shots on goal.
Larry Turner made five saves in 110 minutes of action.
The Bison will play its regular season finale on Nov. 2 at NJIT beginning at 7 p.m.
