NORFOLK, VA. - Chris Harman and Jordan LeBlanc each scored a goal to lead the Monarchs of Old Dominion to a 2-1 exhibition win over Howard University Saturday evening.
Harmon put the Monarchs on the board 15 minutes into the first half on an assist from Daniel Lidster.
In the second half, Jordan LeBlanc scored on an unassisted goal with just under 20 minutes left in the match.
The Howard Bison scored with 1:04 left on an unassisted goal by Joseph Di Chiara.
ODU outshot the Bison, 18-8 and had nine corners to Howards four. The Monarchs goalkeeper
Evan Newton played 18 minutes and had four saves without allowing a goal. Larry Turner had six saves for Howard while Di Chiara had three shots, including two on goal.
Howard returns to action on Tuesday in a 7 pm exhibition to crosstown rival University of the District of Columbia.
