Strong Second Half Not Enough; Bison Fall 4-1 to Liberty
WASHINGTON, DC – Boxscore / The Howard University men’s soccer team outscored Liberty 1-0 in the second half, but it was not enough as the Bison fell 4-1 to the Flames at Greene Stadium on Tuesday night.
Liberty scored all of its goals in the first 45 minutes of action. However, in the second stint, HU came out with more intensity with two shots on goal. Phillip Borde and Larry Turner split time at the goalie position.
The Bison will travel to Loretto, Pa. Sept. 25 to face St. Francis beginning at 2 p.m.
