Bison Edged 2-1 by St. Francis College

WASHINGTON, DC – After a loss against St. Francis (PA), the Howard Bison took on another St. Francis team, this time from New York, in the second game of a double-header with the women's team.

In the first half, Howard recorded three shots including two by Christoph Ingram. The Terriers scored on HU freshman goalie Eric Hamilton in the 11th minute, which was one of two shots on goal for the period.

In the final half of the game, Howard brought more intensity to the field. The Bison recorded three corner kicks and six shots, including three on goal. In the 65th minute of the game, Rahman Alarape converted a long pass down field from Kashmar Briscoe into a goal to give the Bison their first only goal of the game. Howard could not manage another goal, as they fell 2-1 to the Terriers. With the loss, the Bison fall to 1-3-1 on the season.

Next up, Howard will play at Liberty beginning at 7 pm.
