Bison Suffer Tough Loss at Liberty

LYNCHBURG, VA - The Howard Univ. men's soccer team traveled to Lynchburg, Va. to face Liberty (4-1) on Fri. in hopes of snapping its three-game skid. They fell short, however, dropping a 4-0 decision to the Flames.  With the loss, the Bison drop to 1-4-1.

The men struggled to get things going on the offensive end, recording just one shot by Phillip Coker.

HU goali Eric Hamilton made three saves in 90 minutes of action.

Liberty took over the field and made 27 shots, including eight of those shots on goal. Most of the goals were taken after the 83rd minute of the game.

The Bison will look to regroup as they head to Emmitsburg, Md. to take on Mount St Mary's beginning at 7 pm.
