GARDEN CITY, NY- The Howard University men's soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss to conference opponent Adelphi on Sat. Oct. 15.
Adelphi's goalie saved three of the four attempted shots made by HU and the other was blocked by their defense.
HU Goalie Eric Hamilton managed three saves during the duration of the game. The Bison defense struggled to get things going on the offensive end. Kashmar Briscoe, Christopher Sutherland, Akinbola Richardson, and Christoph Ingram all managed one shot throughout the match.
The team will shift its focus as they travel to Charlottesville, Va. to take on Virginia on Tues. Oct. 18 beginning at 7 p.m.
