WASHINGTON, D.C. (www.howard-bison.com) – In spite of coming well within the goal line on numerous efforts, the Howard University men's soccer team could not turn six shot attempts to goals against Mount St. Mary's in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at Greene Stadium.
Mount St. Mary's defeated Howard 1-0.
Rahman Alarape led the squad in shot attempts with two, while Keishon Barrett, Elijah Johnson and Alarape each tallied a shot-on-goal.
For the only goal of the night, Mount St. Mary's Mattew Steele pulled out the HU goalie (Eric Hamilton) out of the arc and scored at the 3:22 mark.
The mighty blue and white closes out the month of September at Temple on Sunday, Sept. 23 at 2:00 p.m. in Philadelphia, Pa.
