HARRISONBURG, VA. - James Madison blanked Howard, 7-0, in a non-conference men's tennis decision on Wednesday in Harrisonburg, Va.

In singles action, Christopher Brown took a tough loss to Jared Robinson at #1, falling 5-7, 5-4, 1-0 (2) and Neilahb Avasthi dropped a 6-0, 6-4 contest to Mike Smith at the #2 spot. Armon Murray fell 7-5 7-5 at #3 while Chad Jones was defeated by Yaroslav Voznenko, 6-1 6-0 at the four spot. Amato Nocera dropped a 6-1, 6-1 contest to Chris Armes and the Dukes won the final spot by default.

Mike Smith and Jared Robinson defeated Brown and Murray 8-3 in doubles while Avasthi and Nocera fell 8-0 at the #2 spot. JMU won the #3 doubles by default.

Howard (0-6) returns to action tomorrow with a contest against Georgetown at 1pm.
