FAIRFAX, VA. - George Mason blanked Howard, 7-0, in a men's tennis affair Tuesday afternoon in Fairfax, Va.

Christopher Brown lost a tough outing at No. 1 singles to Brian Fitzgerald, 6-1, 7-6 (7-3) and Neilahb Avasthi fell 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2. Dan Scheider took down Armon Murray, 6-4, 6-1 while Chad Jones fell to GMU's Harwood Hoskins, 6-3, 6-0. Jordan Lipstock defeated Amato Nocera, 6-1, 6-3 at No. 5 singles and the Patriots won the No. 6 singles by a walkover.

Howard lost the first two doubles, 8-2 and 8-4, respectively, before dropping No. 3 doubles by a walkover.

HU (1-11) next faces off with William & Mary on Friday, April 11.
