VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. - Senior Michael Gee (Staten Island, N.Y./Clemson) and freshman Ashley Moore (Miami, Fla./Gulliver Prep) garnered All-MEAC honors, the conference announced today. Gee was named to the All-MEAC first team while Moore collected All-MEAC second team honors.

Gee finished a perfect 5-0 in singles action during league play. He also had non-conference wins against George Mason, UMBC and Mount St. Mary's at the No. 1 spot. The New York native was named the MEAC Player of the Week twice this season for his efforts.

Moore, a two-time MEAC Rookie of the Week selection, finished 4-1 in conference play and won No. 1 singles contests against Mount St. Mary's, George Mason and Longwood.

The Lady Bison, the No. 2 seed at the MEAC Championship, open up tourney play against No. 3 Bethune-Cookman at 8:30am on Friday. The men's squad takes on No. 2 Florida A&M at noon Friday.
