Howard Falls to UMBC
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Howard was downed by UMBC, 5-2 in a non-conference men's tennis matchup at Banneker Courts.
Senior Michael Gee won at No. 1 singles, 6-4, 6-7, 10-8 and Christopher Brown was victorious at No. 3 after winning 6-4, 2-6, 14-12 over Chris Meyer.
The Bison fell at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles due to a shortage of players.
Howard returns to action tomorrow with a league contest at Hampton.
