George Washington Takes Down Howard
WASHINGTON, D.C. - George Washington defeated Howard, 7-0 in a non-conference men's tennis decision Friday morning at Mount Vernon Tennis Courts.
Omar Haloui had a good outing at No. 1 singles, but was defeated by Ugar Atalay 6-3, 4-6, 1-0.
Eric Chavous was edged in the first set against Richard Blumenfeld, and Blumenfeld rode the momentum to a 7-6, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles.
The Patriots preceded singles action with a sweep of the three doubles matchups for the point.
