WASHINGTON, D.C. - Senior Brianne Gutierrez and freshman Emily Johnson was 5-for-7 each to lead Howard to a tripleheader win over North Carolina Central on Wednesday at Banneker Stadium. The Bison downed NCCU 12-4, 11-5 and 5-1.

Gutierrez also added seven RBI while Johnson drove in a pair of runs.

Jennifer Bien-Amie (4-for-6), Courtney Young (4-for-7) and Sondra Jones (3-for-7) all turned in good performances for the Lady Bison, who improved to 7-9 with the wins.

Howard travels to Delaware State for a three-game MEAC series this Saturday and Sunday.
