BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - Howard fell to Lehigh and Gardner-Webb in a pair of matches at the GWU Tournament on Feb. 20 in Boiling Springs, N.C.

The Lady Bison were downed 6-2 in its matchup against the Hawks and later fell to GWU, 9-1 in the finale.

Ciera Gordon, Nicole Saez and Emily Johnson each had a pair of hits against Lehigh. Freshman Rebecca Kirshner went 1-3 with one run and junior Courtney Young hit .333 with one hit in three at bats.

Trina Kindred was 2-for-4 against the Runnin' Bulldogs. Senior Jennifer Bien-Amie was 2-for-3 while Young and Aisha Ledet had one hit apiece.

Howard (3-8) is off for a few weeks before returning to action at the Georgia Tech Buzz Classic on March 6-8 in Woodstock, Ga.
