Courtney Young Named MEAC Player of the Week
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Junior Courtney Young was named the MEAC Player of the Week, the conference announced today.
Young led the Lady Bison to three straight MEAC wins over Morgan State last week. She recorded a .500 hitting average and belted a grand slam in the second game of the three-game home stand. She finished the week with five hits including one home run and eight RBI.
The reigning MEAC Player of the Year also plated the game winning run in game one against the Bears.
Howard is back in action on Tuesday against Delaware State.
