HOWARD CONCLUDES SERIES WITH HAMPTON WITH 9-6 LOSS
Due to facilities complications on Saturday, April 13, Howard turned a two-day (Saturday/Sunday) three-game series into a three game series played on Sunday, April 14 and Thursday, April 18, where the Lady Bison concluded the series with a 9-6 loss to the Lady Pirates.

Bethune-Cookman Ends Howard’s Run for MEAC Title
ORMOND BEACH, FL. – Bethune Cookman ended Howard’s run for the MEAC title in the semi-final game of the conference tournament. The Bison moved passed Florida A&M 7-0, and Coppin State 1-0 in 10 innings just a few hours prior to facing the defending champions. In all, HU played a total of 22 innings of softball on Friday.

Hurston Leads Howard to Win Over SC State
The Howard University bats came alive, erupting for four runs in the top of the fifth and three more in the sixth, and pitcher Jessica Hurston came up big on the mound and at the plate to lead the Lady Bison to a 10-6 win over South Carolina State in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference softball tournament at the Ormond Beach Sports Complex.
