Five Runners Qualify for the 2006 MEAC Indoor Championships Norfolk, VA--Two males and three female runners today qualified for the 2006 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championships to be held in February. LaClaire Carter, Ahsley Vann and Lauren McNary all qualified on the women's side, while David Wynn and Daniel Kenny qualified on the men's side. Carter qalified for the 60 meters with a time of 7.72 to lead the women while Kenny ran a 8.37 in the 60 meter hurdles to lead the men. The other qualifying times are as follows: Vann: 11:06.5 in the 3000 meters McNary: 57.27 in the 400 meters Wynn: 1:56.94 in the 800 meters. The teams will return to action on January when they travel to Fairfax, VA to participate in the Father Diamond Invitational hosted by George Mason.
