EMMITSBURG, MD. - Howard won six events at the Erik Kloiber Centennial Metro Invitational, hosted by Mount St. Mary's on Saturday, April 19.

Landria Buckley won the 100m hurdles after crossing the line in 14.25. The sophomore went on to finish second in the 200m dash in 25.32.

Anthony Penny took home a first place finish in the 100m dash (10.97) and Joe Claiborne won the 200m dash in 22.16, pacing six Bison to a top-10 finish in the event. Anthony Penny (third in 22.41), Mikael LaRoche (fourth in 22.74), Brandon Carter (sixth in 22.91), Tochi Odocha (seventh in 22.99) and Daniel Kinney (eighth in 23.08) all had top-10 finishes in that event for HU.

Stephen Small-Warner was first in the men's long jump after leaping 6.74m (22-01.50 feet). James Moses was third in the same event with a leap of 6.23m (20-05.25 feet). Kinney took home a first place finish in the 110m hurdles (14.33) while the 4x100m relay squad won gold in 41.65.

Howard got a good outing from Richard Williams, who finished second in the 800m run in 1:56.68. Odocha and Kinney finished fourth and sixth, respectively, in the 100m dash and Thurman Sanders was fifth in the 1500m run in 4:11.92. Jamin Lundy took ninth in the same event in 4:26.71.

Kendall Frost was seventh in the 800m run (2:01.81) while Carter paced a 6-7-9 finish for the Bison in the 400m dash. Carter took sixth in 51.25 while Kimery Williams and Michael Kendall was seventh (53.13) and ninth (54.24), respectively.

Brittany Stephens was one of four Lady Bison to finish in the top five in the 400m dash. Stephens was the runner up in 59.96 while Lillian Daniels won bronze in 1:03.13. Janelle Wallace was fourth in 1:03.57 and Latayvia Jackson was fifth in 1:04.92.

Alexandria Lemonious was fourth in the 100m dash (12.62) while Nomi-Kaie Bennett and TyEsha Ervin was fifth (13.09) and sixth (13.73), respectively. Bennett and Ervin also placed seventh and eighth in the 200m dash.

Lemonious took second in two events. She crossed the 100m hurdle line in 14.51 and leaped 5.16m (16-11.25) in the long jump.

In other field events, Ashley Greene was second in the discus throw (29.72m or 97-06 feet) and third in the shot put (9.87m or 32-04.75 feet).

Ashley Hodges took home a pair of second place finishes after finishing as the runner up in the 800m run (2:26.05) and the 1500m run (4:59.69). Brittany Jackson was sixth in the 800m run in 2:36.79 and Jessica Neal took third in the 3000m run after crossing the line in 11:03.36.
